Further research in the field of Cloud Physics, including numerical modelling and laboratory measurements.Further development of my teaching of quantitative modules within the School.Also took on the role of Senior Academic Advisor so I am the point of contact within School for Academic Advising. I train / mentor other Academic Advisors. Assign tutor groups and Advisor Groups.In this role I developed a database driven web site - using PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL - for tracking advisor meetings, which was rolled-out with success within the School.

I was previously the programme director for Environmental Science and Studies degrees, which involved deciding on content, running the degree and dealing with queries. I set up an Industrial Liaison Board comprising BP, the Environment Agency, Parsons Brinkerhoff, British Geological Survey, Fellows Environmental and Ground Gas Solutions.Then I moved to academic admissions officer for the same programme, with a focus on: improving recruitment via open days, promoting The School to schools and 6 form colleges via outreach activities, and continuing to raise the awareness of what undergraduate study in our School has to offer.I am principal and co-investigator on research grants from the Natural Environment Research Council and the EU.

Developed teaching materials; wrote and awarded grant applications from research councils; developed and managed a University laboratory.
