Planned improvements to the workbooks to clean up and simplify the workbooks which was undertaken by myself the team. Produced VBA code to assist the process.Integrating the new Balance of Payments methodology across our country workbooks, working out what has changed and how best to implement the changes into our workbooks and publish the data. Liaising internally to analysts and regional heads about the changes and how it would affect their forecasts and external data partners about the changes to the series.Analysed how switching from excel 2003 file format to excel 2007 file format workbooks would affect the production system and process. Undertake custom econometric research and projects for clients, using macroeconomic theory and econometric techniques in EViews and Excel to deliver bespoke research projects. Projects I was involved in totalled around $500k, with around 50% of the clients engaging the Economist Intelligence Unit in further consulting. These projects involved quarterly world GDP forecasts, worldwide intermediate expenditure for a payments processor and sector specific GDP forecasts.
