About Paul Jackson
After studying at the Bartlett School of Architecture, Paul worked with North East Thames Regional Health Authority and McLaughlin & Harvey Ltd, before coming to Nigel Upchurch Associates in 1987. He learnt his trade in refurbishment and small and large domestic schemes around London. Later under John Wimbleton he moved into church work becoming a Quinquennial Inspector in 2004 (Dioceses of London and Southwark). For many years he was an Associate with Upchurch Associates. He became an accredited RIBA Conservation Architect in 2012. Now he is also an accredited Conservation Architect on the AABC register, a member of IHBC and an associate member of EASA. He has been job architect on the Royal College of Organists, Roydon Hall and several interventions at St Paul's Covent Garden as well as many other church-jobs. In 2021 he was invited to serve on the local Conservation Area Advisory Committee (the Monken Hadley and Wood Street Conservation Areas). In 2022 he became director of P B Jackson Architecture Ltd.
