Joined the Navy years ago as a Boiler Technician. This spanned 21 years where I went from apprentice to Senior Enlisted Adviser to the Commending Officer. I managed a Engineering Watch team of 5 to a crew of 250. During my employ I attained a Bachelor's Degree in Workforce Education and Management. This honed my management skills and provided me necessary tools to manage an operational Training Facility which housed an operational Shipboard Propulsion Plant with classrooms and a student throughput of about 10,000 annually. Finally, after attending Senior Enlisted Academy, I was assigned to a new Navy Destroyer as Command Master Chief. I was responsible for the morale and welfare of 250 personnel and their families. This was very taxing and demanding, yet very rewarding. I received accolades and retired upon completion of this assignment. After Service, started over at a Candy Factory as a Maintenance Mechanic and Co-generation Operator/Maintenance. From there, to PPL where I was a Manager and Trainer teaching Operations and Maintenance procedures to Coal Plant, Nuclear Plant, Hydro Plant, and Gas Turbine Plant Personnel. Moved on to Sam Adams Pennsylvania Brewery where I provide maintenance and operations support to the plant. Worked at JBS USA Foods in Souderton, PA as a Maintenance Training Supervisor in charge of training maintenance staff at this food processing plant. Using LMS and hands-on training to perfect staff's skill sets, reduce downtime, and eliminate injuries. Worked as a Field Technician and H & K Group Water and Waste Water Services. I directed crews in field in support of our division. We responded to Emergent, Reactive, and Preventive Maintenance Requests from our customers. Our customers represented Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants in Central PA.Finally, working as Chief Engineer at IMTT Bayonne. A dream job, working in the field I love, managing crew and plant in support of over 600 storage tanks looking at Lower Manhattan. Seeking a job with greater responsibility that would task my knowledge and skill set.
