Volta Oil & Gas is a company aimed at the development and production of discoveries and partially exploited oil and gas accumulations in the Southern North Sea and the East Irish Sea. The potential reduction in overhead costs, technical pragmatism, deployment of proven tight-gas methodology and efficient development strategies engineered "in-house" will undoubtedly yield improved economic performance for many previously stranded, bypassed or undervalued fields.

Director and Head of Production and Operations for RWE Dea UK, then INEOS Breagh following the sale of UK assets by DEA AG. Management of Offshore Production Facilities and Production & RE support teams. Initially involved in development planning for the Cavendish gas field in the SNS, then on to further developments including the Topaz, Clipper South and Breagh gas fields. Production circa 25 kboed in 2015. Central role in the sale of the UK company first to LetterOne, and then to Ineos.

Reservoir modelling and development concept planning for Ettrick, Blane and Enoch UK North Sea Oil fields. The concepts were subsequently adopted by successor Field Operating companies, and the fields successfully and profitably developed.

Managed portfolio of production and development assets with three asset managers and other support staff. Initiated separate appraisal and development strategies for Ettrick, Blane and Enoch fields. Moved to Enterprise Oil on their take-over of the company.

Developed production and injection strategies to reduce gas and eventually eliminate gas flaring in the field. Initiated OBC seismic acquisition on the field to assist with imaging the reservoir. This project allowed infill locations to be de-risked and was also instrumental in permitting the development of the McClure field and giving rise to several discoveries.

Production Manager and then General Manager. UK Field interests included Hudson, Hutton and NW Hutton Field. Responsible for initiating the Melville field oil discovery south of the Hudson field. Also represented Itochu Oil & Gas in the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli development project (BP Operated) in Azerbailjan.

Initially worked on the development of the Balmoral and Glamis and Sterling oil fields in the UKCS. Then responsible for reservoir engineering support to international exploraiton projects in Gabon, Argentina and Malaysia. Involved on the Technical committees of several JV projects, including the Magnus Field in the UK and the Fateh Fields offshore Dubai.
