Paul has worked in the London insurance market for 40 years predominately in the FINPRO and D&O sector. He now provides consulting services to Insurers, Insurance Brokers and other Insurance Service Providers working in and around the London Market. His extensive experience in all three of these fields affords him a unique perspective on the Market as a whole Paul started his career working for Alexander Howden (now Aon) in 1983. He then went on to work for various brokers where he specialised in financial institutions insurance, directors and officers liability, specie, fine art, political risks, product recall and professional indemnity. Paul subsequently became Director of Claims at Johnson & Higgins (now Marsh) where he was responsible for all claims emanating from a diverse book of business. Paul left Johnson & Higgins to set up the London office of the Chicago-based law firm Querrey & Harrow. He then went onto two similar roles for other US based law firms. Over these years Paul was responsible for establishing strategic measures to grow business, developing new policy wordings and products for Insurers, monitoring and assisting with ongoing cases, designing and maintaining claims bordereau, arranging preparing for and participating in audits of Lloyds Coverholders and TPA’s, establishing and managing credit control policy and overseeing the collection of fees from London market.
