Risk & Control, Collections and Recoveries.

Effective and proactive management, implementation and understanding of the Training and Competence Schemes across several businesses within the Distribution Channels as well as supporting the operating model to identify and manage risks as well as meeting the regulatory requirements set out in the FCA T&C Source Book. Support key regulatory change and strategic initiatives in relation to professional standards and Training and Competence strategy, including development and implementation of new policies and operating models.The ability to work across various FCA sourcebooks and regimes to include COBS, MCOB, IAR, MCD, ICOBS.Management of day to day relationships with external and internal suppliers of Training and Competence services.Providing subject matter expertise on training and competence strategies and methodologies, educating senior management on how Training and Competence can leverage improved business performance and fair outcomes for customers as well as develop a positive risk culture.Accurate and timely production of risk based management information.Identify and assess significance of current and emerging trends from Training and Competence activity and management information, with escalation of any associated risks and issues, where required.Undertaking of thematic monitoring of Training and Competence activity to ensure that quantitative and qualitative requirements of Training and Competence policy are met, with escalation on findings and management information to mitigate risks.
