I have been in an NHS Ambulance Service for over 30 years and for the last 20 years have been working as a Specialist Paramedic - Urgent & Emergency Care (previously known as an Emergency Care Practitioner/Paramedic Practioner).Elected as Parish Councillor for the St.Agnes Ward, of the St.Agnes Parish Council in February 2023, where I voluntarily serve my Parish villages and Community on the Full Council and 'Environment and Properties Commitee'.I am also undertaking a personal project to oversee the funding, provision and logistics of 'Community Access Defibrillators' for the whole Parish of five villages and the visitors who attend are Parish.In March 2021 joined the Volunteer Crew of the Wetwheels Foundation (South West CIC) and I have taken on the role of Director of Communications and Public Relations, in addition I provide Logistics, Uniforms and Human Resources support.I am the Vice-Chair Trustee, of the 'Cornwall Ambulance Service Benevolent Fund'. We provide financial assistance and financial hardship support to active and retired ambulance service personnel, in times of need.Additionally, in my community, I volunteer with fundraising support and some First Aid traing support to the local 'Surf Lifesaving Club', and I am a moderator/community support operative of the 'Helping Hands St.Agnes' Facebook Group, which was set up by two friends to support the communities needs during the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020.This group has now refocused into a more general support and information hub covering a wide ranges of issues, helping indiviuals, organisations and businesses in the community, for the needs of the residents of the Parish of St.Agnes.I was an RNLI Volunteer Lifeboat Crew, Press Officer and Operations Manager, for over 24 years, in addition to 14 years as a Cliff Rescue Officer in HM Coastguard, and served 8 years as a 'Special Constable' Reserve Police Officer in the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary, where I was also awarded a 'Chief Constables Commendation'.I am keeping my future career options open, to continue and develop my work and interests.Interested in Health & Social Care, Local and National Government, Intergrated Care Services, NHS Digital, Humanitarian, Health Training and Development, Minor Injuries Centres, Palliative Care, GP Practice, Communications and Public Relations opportunities.Please contact me if you have any opportunities you feel I may be eligible to apply, in line with the the roles I have or currently undertake, in my profile, for my future consideration.Thank You for reading my biography.
