Responsible for adequate training of computer software, company policies, test equipment and systems to each technician in the department. Responsible for coordinating maintenance priorities with other Team Supervisors to perform maintenance, service aircraft and components, providing assistance to maintenance technicians to help minimize aircraft down time.Design, research, and manufactured R&D components and processes for use in the aircraft industry.Inspect, review, and improve engineering department drawings/products to ensure regulatory compliance with FAA Part 21 and Part 145. Work closely with internal and external engineering departments to develop new repairs, procedures, tests, and alternative repairs to ensure quick turn times for customers.
