Hardwork in discipline were key takeaways on the farms, but the true joy of the job and respect for the land were admirable traits of both my grandparents. Family and Teamwork were a common theme as the farmers always rallied together to celebrate achievements or tackle adversity. Hospitality and the service industry came early in my career. My parents started a franchise hotel in our hometown which we all worked, learning quickly the business mindset while understanding the true details of great service. My love for the land and true passion for hospitality brought me to Colorado where I started a 16-year career at one of the premier guest ranches in the world, C Lazy U Ranch. My ability to provide luxury service while leading a highly affective team, excelled my position as a wrangler to general manager. We were focused on being the best while being fiscally disciplined to achieve our goals in a sustainable fashion to set the business up for long term success.
