Security Duty Supervisor(Sds)
Current• Managing and supervising the airport security program as well as the day-to-day security operations throughout the airport community, ensuring the security personnel remains fully compliant with all relevant regulations.• Assisting the ADO on duty in all security related issues and informing the ASOC SS about the emergency situations.• Respond and assist with contingency planning. Participating as required, in airport emergencies or other occurrences threatening the Safety and Security or regularity of normal operations. Allocating resources when meeting the demand of increased passenger traffic or dispatching the available security personnel to various locations as required in occurrences threatening the safety & security or the regularity of the Airport. • Liaise with State Authorities (HCAA, Police, Customs etc.) in regards to airport security matters and coordinates with other related airport functions (PTS, AFS etc.) to ensure a smooth airport operation.• Maintaining contact with ASOC Security Screening and Guarding Coordinators in all matters of security and communicate general and special requests. • Obtains relevant information from ASOC Security Coordinators about security screening and the general security status at the beginning and end of each shift.• Coordinates screening operation in accordance to the NCASR, ASP and all concerned Airport services and Authorities such as HCAA and Police.• Responds to and assists the Police in cases of unattended baggage and bomb threats.• Defines the security measures and cooperation with airport services and agencies concerned. Handles issues of access control (short term/visitor permit issuance for persons and vehicles). Compliance and action if AIA’s SOP’s and Security regulations are not followed.• Receives complaints and requests from the Airport’s customers for security issues. • Monitors the attendance of the security personnel on duty and informs and completes relevant reports.
