An accomplished IT executive in the financial industry with extensive international, and well-rounded experience from the buy-side, sell-side, and stock exchange.Paul was the CIO of the Maybank Kim Eng Group, a leading investment bank in ASEAN that spans 11 countries globally with over 80 branches. Paul was responsible for all IT functions and initiatives to support the company's overall business and strategic goals while ensuring alignment with the aspirations of the Maybank Group. Significant initiatives included a comprehensive digital transformation program for Retail Equities, a new trading system for Institutional Equities, Enterprise Risk Management, and a new regional system for Finance and Accounting.Prior to this, Paul was at Millennium Partners (New York) managing the technical support functions and various business initiatives. He later relocated to Hong Kong as their CIO Asia to help drive the firm's expansion in the region. This included managing technology and business initiatives, and building out offices and high-performance low-latency trading systems offices across the region.Paul held various management positions at bulge bracket banks with regional responsibilities focusing on infrastructure and business initiatives. He started his career at the Toronto Stock Exchange where he held various technical positions.Paul holds a M.A.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto.
