Installations, temporary sales, training and support.In his current role with Global Technical Services (GTS), Paul installs, configures, integrates, trains and maintains complete system solutions comprising of bare metal or virtual servers, workstations, networks, software and peripherals. Paul also provides IT Help Desk support and repair services when he is not travelling to a number of different Government Organizations across the world. Paul’s responsibilities also include responding to global service calls for enterprise systems including hardware, software, networks and peripheral support and resolving any problems encountered for system administrators as well as end users. Paul also creates and maintains installation and system training documentation for hardware and software applications. Paul often accesses and remotely maintains systems and application functionality using various remote access client software’s (RDP – WebEx – VNC – Remote Assistance – Teamviewer - etc…). Paul’s responsibilities also include designing, documenting and implementing security policies on Government networks and systems. Paul also has experience and certifications in Database administration. He has worked on various database engines, and has experience in MS Access, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and SYBASE ASE administration.
