Was responsible for development, design and release management of the GUI of a high-throughput, mission-critical taxi-booking system. Telephonists using the GUI would action jobs purely via keyboard input, which necessitated a thorough understanding of Swing's event-handling mechanism, plus a direct appreciation of how users interact with the GUI and underlying data, and how front-end data integrated with a complex back-end.
