Responsible for Corporate Actions operations teams, serving clients across markets within EMEA under Direct and Global Custody, including improving of products and processes, managing group budget, creating cost savings, staff development, risk and control analysis, change management and project management.Key Achievements• Project Manager Offshoring: Successful relocation (offshoring) of the Corporate Actions Department from mature site in London to Dublin. Business case, Budgeting, Project Plans, Risk Analysis (RAID), Progress reviews, Training, Management reporting and presentations through to closure. Saving of $10mn per annum.• Project Manager Regulatory Change: Defined and implemented Sanctioned securities analysis tool globally to identify and escalate in-flight corporate events potentially held in custody on behalf of clients. Coordinated tech changes, Procedure revision and Training across operations.• Project Manager Risk and Controls: Implementation of Secure email into the group. Liaising with Risk and Compliance, implementing procedures, and coordinating training across operations.• Project Manager Regulatory Change: Defined and instigated reporting of ‘Shortfall’ stock breaks as required by FCA regulations (CASS 6) across the department. Procedures, Control spreadsheets created and implemented.• Client On-boarding: Managed successful migration of new client portfolios into custody, monitoring and reviewing risk analysis across 1,590 live corporate actions impacting $720bn portfolio.• Risk and Control Analysis: Designed and implemented Risk and Control tools (RCSA) for the department to accurately monitor all operational risk areas, mitigating controls and testing requirements, as well as the creation and monitoring of metric reporting (KPI & KRI).
