I am the UK Business Development Lead for DroneControl. I am working with the Swiss team on the FirstResponder App that allows the Emergency Services family, Private Security and Surveillance sectors to be able to use your own hardware to be able to livestream securely also give control of the onboard payload and or UA to a remote person safely. We are adding new functionality almost every month, and have a very exciting roadmap, including secure upload and storage and AI enriched data.

AIR Solutions Group Ltd is a UAS specialist company. We capture aerial data with the use of Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS), this consists of accurate RGB, Multispectral and Thermal data and then create a number of multi layer data sets. The second arm of the business is consultancy specialising in UAS use within the Infrastructure and Response entities, hence Airborne, Infrastructure, Response (AIR).This company has been an exciting seed that I have been growing for the last few years now, and now is the right time to launch it and let it grow.

I am very pleased to be able say I am now the Chief UAV Pilot, at what is in my opinion one of the most forward thinking Consultancy and Engineering companies. I am the companies National Drone Manager. This entails managing the internal Drone Operators. The fleet of aircraft. The training of the employees and procurement of the equipment. I am also the Accountable Manager to the CAA for the company.I am also the Post Framework Contract Manager for the Drone Framework. This entails working with the four professional services companies and being the technical advisor to our internal customers, also the three RAE’s and two equipment suppliers to keep our fleet operational.My main role is future horizon searching for unmanned technology and implementing it into our current operation along with the Manned Aircraft. I am also the Subject Matter Expert for drones within Network Rail.I am very thankful to have a fantastic team and Head of Department around me in Air Operations.

I am the Project Manager in the Air Operations team. My key roles are implementing Drone Technology and how it integrates with Manned Aviation. I am the Accountable Manager for all NR Operations of Drones. This includes how they are to be used over the Rail Infrastructure. I work in a small team and manage staff members who work alongside myself.I am very privileged to still be able to run my own Aerial Photography company part time as this gives me added experience within my day job but also allows me to keep my hand in with stick time.

I have worked in many roles whilst at Essex Police including:Police Air Observer on the Force Helicopter.Road Scene Manager, Roads Policing.Trained Investigator.Drone Trainer.

I began my life as an Air Cadet at 13 years old. When I left the Army I decided to share my experience with cadets once again and give back what I had gained from the organisation. Having been a service helper whilst serving. I became commissioned in June 2007 and took over Command of a Squadron in August 2011 where I turned a squadron of 2 staff and 5 cadets to 7 staff and 40 cadets within 12 months. I like solving problems and think outside of the box to resolve them.

Having served her Majesty, which was an extremely proud nine years, I was lucky to have ventured to a number of parts of the world. This included Germany, Bosnia and Croatia, Belize and a number of UK bases too. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the AAC and met some fantastic people. I learnt about myself in a way that no other career will bring out; Self discipline, motivation, courage, communication (good and bad) working in extreme situations.I was fortunate enough to have gained stick time whilst serving along with a lot of rear crew experience. This helped me with my understanding of Crew Resource Management and working very close as a team.
