Manages the day to day operations of the Marine Corps Northeastern Recruiting District to include administrative, logistical, supply chain, budgetary and information technology support to over 600 personnel spread throughout 14 states and 2 continents. Additionally manage a 178,855 sqft facility with 7 tenant organizations, a café, bar and armed guard force with a base operations service contract of $587,000 and an overall District budget in excess of $15 million

Facilitates organizational efficiency, integrity, and institutional readiness though objective and independent assistance, assessments, inspections and investigations to enhance the organizations’ mission success and the welfare of its employees and their families. Conduct fact finding inquires and investigations of alleged fraud, waste, abuse, misconduct and mismanagement throughout the U.S. Marine Corps Recruiting Command worldwide. Answer Congressional and White House inquiries on behalf of the Commanding General of Marine Corps Recruiting Command.

Responsible for the procurement and selection of highly qualified and competitive employees for promotion to higher level leadership positions, including executive level management. Manage the nationwide (Marine option) Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) program. Directly responsible for over 40% of the Marine Corps officer procurement mission nationwide.

Manage the readiness of more than 30 attack/utility aircraft, the training and personal development of more than 350 maintenance personnel, including 10 supervisors, across 8 cross functional sections, and accountability of equipment, tools, and facilities. During a time of a worldwide reduction of resources, recognized for yielding the highest aircraft readiness within the organization.

Led and supervised an 8 member team, responsible for the daily logistical needs of an aviation organization of over 350 personnel. Logistical needs included but not limited to: sustainment, material support and oversight, embarkation and debarkation of helicopter support for multiple global combat forces. Led the tracking and maintenance of $1.5 million in logistical support assets necessary to support 24-hour continuous operations on a daily basis.

Responsible for all matters concerning ground and aviation safety. Directed and monitored the daily execution of several unit’s safety management systems and directed the units Crew Resource Management program and instructor program resulting in zero mishaps.

Responsible for screening and recruiting entry level management professionals to serve as officers in the U.S. Marine Corps. Managed 15 management recruiters throughout the Northeast. Exceeded every aspect of the annual mission for 3 straight years. Personally served in every asset of the organization, resulting in an emulated model of administrative efficiency throughout the nation and leaving behind a legacy of improved processes.
