I am a Freelance Social Media Comedy Content Creator, who, through creating inclusive, relatable comedy content, has built a strong platform and online community across Instagram and TikTok.Using my expertise from 15 years as a comedy writer, and my time spent working in Marketing and PR, I work with brands to deliver their key messaging in a creative, entertaining format for both my followers and the brand's own audience. Working with the likes of KP Snacks, Three, Uswitch, Paultons Park and the Vegan Food Group.Away from social media, I spent 2 years at Mercieca - an integrated PR & Marketing agency, where I learnt key transferrable skills across trade, corporate and consumer PR, that I have been able to put to good use when working with brands for content creation. In Spring 2020, I also set up "Oakmead Productions" an independent production company with the aim of making fresh and original long from comedy content. So far, our short films have received critical acclaim across the world and won over 30 international awards.I previously studied Comedy: Writing & Performance at Southampton Solent University and have obtained a series of Social Marketing qualifications from Google and HubSpot.Whilst working for Virgin Active, I joined their Voluntary UK Diversity & Inclusion Programme to help assist and create better opportunities and support for BAME staff. I also created a range of content for Virgin Active's in-house social media during Black History Month which was shared with all UK employees.
