Due to the site closure of my current employer Eaton Electrical Systems Ltd, I find myself looking for a new position.My current contract will end March 2025 so I’m available to start a new position April 2025 onwards.I am looking for a mid - senior level position in engineering or operations management.Post university education, I have been working solely within the UK manufacturing industry, undertaking production engineering and engineering management and operations management roles in product assembly, metal forming, metal processing and fabrication sectors with my latest role been in the manufacture and assembly of electrical lighting products.I am a highly competent engineering manager with a proven track record in all areas of production engineering, with main areas of expertise been in capital investment projects, production tooling design, production equipment designs new product introduction and non-value adding identification and removal.During my career, I have been responsible for managing the introduction of several million pounds worth of capital investments including the specifying, purchasing, installing and development of production equipment and the re-development of industrial buildings.I have undertaken the design and development of numerous pieces of production equipment and countless sets of production tooling. Used for the manufacture of a wide range of metal items. Ranging from small steel and aluminium rivets through to stainless steel vehicle exhaust systems. In addition to the above I offer the skills required to effectively manage mentor and develop engineering teams and personnel. Ensuring that teams work effectively and efficiently to required timescales, while ensuring work is carried out to the standards required by the modern manufacturing sector.
