Paul is a registered architect with long-term experience in architectural design and managing architectural projects. His project experience is broad and includes residential buildings, commercial projects, hospitals, institutional buildings, and master planning projects.Paul spent the early part of his career involved in residential apartment buildings at the Gold Coast, Brisbane and London. For a decade he worked on numerous Gold Coast apartment towers and large scale residential developments, at the sketch design, design development and construction stages.Later he became an associate at the leading architectural practice of Daryl Jackson Architects, spending 12 years as a design and project architect on a variety of complex institutional, health and commercial buildings. As an associate he designed and managed projects such as the Virgin Blue Flight Simulator; hospital expansions for Robina, Redlands, and Redcliffe Hospitals; and the Royal Brisbane Hospital Doctors Retreat. As an architect, he worked on the University of Queensland Bioscience Precinct, Australian Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology at the University of Queensland.Since then he has operated his own practice Paul Lynch Architects and designed a number of luxury residences in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. These houses have ranged in price from $1.0 to $2.4 million construction cost. Recently he has been part of the GM Advisory start up and engaged in "pre-architecture" and capital raising; and has developed competencies in analysing developments and feasibility studies for the purpose of due diligence and raising capital, mostly for proposed residential apartment buildings. This has provided an illuminating insight into the development process and the many aspects of the industry beyond the architectural realm.
