As part of the UKI Board I was responsible for managing the strategic direction of our OnSite activities (the market leading outsourced MRO Procurement and Stores Management offer) along with our HSEQ, CI, Strategic Pricing and Customer Experience teams.

ERIKS are in the unique position where we can deliver a broad range of products, backed up with application know-how, to customers not only in Europe but in North America and South East Asia. I led a team that delivered to our customers transformative business relationships, both in the the MRO and OEM markets. Global responsibility for the development of our Supply Chain Solutions strategy for existing and new customers.

My responsibilities included the operational and commercial management of over 70 locations where our customers have outsourced their MRO procurement and Engineering stores management. Covering a broad range of industries from pharma to paper; food production to plasterboard manufacturing my remit was to deliver, through my team, the promises we had made to our customers coupled with the financial returns expected by our shareholders.

I was responsible for all the commercial aspects of our "integrated" customer relationships. These were clients where ERIKS had a full-time, on-site presence providing an MRO procurement and stores management service.From August - December 2013 the procurement function within the Integrated Solutions division also reported into me. This team are responsible for managing our relationships with key suppliers that fall outside of our core offering, but where our spend is substantial.

My responsibilities were: the winning of new multi-million pound outsourced MRO procurement and stores management contracts; the development of our project based stores creation/renovation offering; the continued drive of the ERIKS private brands into our integrated clients; and the delivery of engineering solutions to our integrated clients that drives cost out of their business.

This role focussed on the negotiation and delivery of new multi-million pound contracts in the field of "Integrated Supply". This is where a manufacturing facility outsources all of it's MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) spend and inventory management to a 1st tier supplier.In this role I typically engaged with senior level purchasing, engineering, finance and HR managers from the client.

In this role I was responsible for one of the largest product groups in the company. The role involved the management of a technical support group, product management team, purchasing office and hydraulic power unit design and manufacture.I led the team that negotiated national distribution agreements with the key manufacturers in the Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Filtration market sectors.
