- Spec Review/estimation using AGILE methodologies.- Driven the introduction of TFS to the wider IT team members.- Supporting UAT with business users.- Creating test plans.- Assisted with the setup of process for using TFS/MTM for the test team in the UK and the NL office.- Ensuring that the software had been developed to a high quality and meets the business requirements.- Creating and executing manual and automated test scripts for both projects and small change enhancements using TFS/Microsoft Test Manager.- Ensuring the software test team procedures are kept up to date due to continuous improvements.- Liaising with external companies to assist with queries involving 3rd party applications.- Assisting the application support team with any queries they have with applications.- Assisting in continuous improvements to the development process (for both projects and change requests) within the IT department to drive a more agile approach. This has included the introduction of acceptance criteria and user stories across all work streams.- The creation of Operational Acceptance test plans which were executed by the relevant departments.- The creation of Test Plans which needed by the project managers for budget submission and also to indicate the responsibilities of each department within the project.- Creating procedures for various teams in the IT department to use TFS, and assisting with any queries surrounding the system.- Ensuring the test team adheres to the standards set for the creation and execution of test scripts and defect management.- Defect tracking and reporting along with managing the BAU backlog. - Assisting in the development of the contract testers and providing progress reports to the QA Manager.
