Designed system solutions across three architectural dimensions: data (conceptual and logical), system interaction, and business process.Represented Walmart on GS1’s Global Product Classification (GPC) working group. GPC is a GS1 standard mandatory classification system for the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN), which Walmart uses to receive item data from Suppliers.Designed software solutions for major business initiatives (e.g., fresh supply chain initiative, development of new item Catalog suite of products (item creation and maintenance), assessment of off-the-shelf Workforce Management software solutions, and removal of “intelligent” item identifiers).Coauthor of patented design (U.S.114296) for a system that allowed users to define and add new Item attributes to systems without Engineering involvement, and to dynamically render new attributes on User Interfaces (UIs).

Wrote software for the Global Supply Chain Visibility (GSCV) product to track and display the movement of imported merchandise, from overseas factories and origin ports into initial U.S. ports, through to import DCs from December 1998 to December 2002. (Informix 4GL, SQL, eSQL-C, Stored Procedures, UNIX Scripts). Worked with external data providers (Ocean Carriers, Customs Brokers, Consolidators) to get the supply chain tracking data Walmart required (via EDI). Maintained close relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure our GSCV system met business needs.
