I am responsible for the smooth running of the pre-apprenticeship, Traineeship Programme. This is made up of a five week classroom based IT and Employability course, along with a four week work placement. If any company would like to assist by providing a 4 week placement in Digital Marketing, IT Tech Support or Web Dev, please feel free to contact me. I am the lead for Functional Skills delivery as well as continuing to deliver training in maths and employability. I manage a team of six trainers and support staff.

As a Trainer teaching Functional Skills; I feel I have a great responsibility. I am fortunate enough to be able to help young people improve their skills and help them progress their careers.The classes I deliver improve their (IT Apprentices) core functional skills of English, maths and I.C.T.I completed my Certificate in Education and Training (CET) Level 4 in November 2015. I have also spent time educating myself in the field of effective training and communication. I can highly recommend Dr John Medina’s book: Brain Rules; for any educator or trainer.I am also a qualified English teacher, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages – Trinity College Cambridge. There are so many good techniques used by teachers which can be transferred to training. Having a good understanding of how, as human beings, we learn and remember really helps when designing and delivering effective training.I am responsible for ensuring learners (I.T. apprentices) pass their functional skills exams (Level 2) in English, maths and I.C.T.I deliver training to classes of up to 18, and one to one sessions when needed.I have created many resources from scratch as well as utilising the resources available from the learning community. I really enjoy training the apprentices, who understand they need to pass the exams to progress and complete their apprenticeship.I am targeted on my timely achievement of learners passing their exams.

Traineeships comprise of three elements: * Training in employability skills including but not limited to; communication skills, presentation skills, job searching, CV writing and telephone skills.* Functional skills training covering: English, Maths and ICT.* Quality work placements for a period totalling six weeks.As the trainer I work every day delivering classes to improve the employability of the trainees. A thoroughly rewarding role which I really enjoy and am fully committed to. Helping young people get a start in life is extremely important and rewarding.

I am responsible for the quality of the delivery of our innovative, highly effective, instructor led, online training solution. Cost, time and learning effective delivery of training via our virtual classroom; CloudRooms, our proposition is Instructor led with VoIP and webcams, NOT e-learning.

My remit was to take this revolutionary training concept to market both in the UK and globally.

My role was to maximise revenue from large accounts both in the UK and the Middle East. I also managed junior staff, to develop their skills in account management and sales.
