My family migrated from Scotland to Australia in 1981 when I was 4 years old. We lived at Bondi beach until we finally settled on the northern beaches of Sydney where I have lived ever since. I have a younger brother named David who is my best mate and was a fellow director of the former family business Almac Pty Ltd. My father, Allan MacPherson started Almac after noticing small business freight customers were not receiving the service, care nor the rates they deserved from the major freight providers. My father Allan honed his skills in customer service as the national sales rep for Comet Express which paved the way for him to start Almac, giving priority to the customers needs at all costs. I have been fortunate to learn exceptional business and customer service skills to ensure the customer is always first priority. Unfortunately, Almac was forced out of operation in 2018 by all major freight suppliers, who wished to deal directly with customers. I then embarked on a new phase of my life at Pharmacare Laboratories in Warriewood which was a great learning curve and taught me many valuable business lessons. After my time at Pharmacare I joined a very successful small business called Portable Partitions Australia as the production and warehouse manager which is where I currently work. I am very focused and have a huge thirst for business growth and knowledge. I am hard working and always willing to learn.
