Preparing artwork from concept to completion of corporate branding (letterheads, compliment slips, business cards), newsletters, brochures, reports and variable data documents. Also, due to the large amount of artwork supplied by customers, involved with pre-flighting, planning up and pre-press operations. In time, I concentrated on the publisher role, developing my skills and knowledge in this field. I was involved in the design, page make-up, sub-editing and proof passing (bromide/cromalin) of all publications, from business cards and single-sided A5 leaflets through to 500-page reports and CD-ROMs. All documents were prepared using various applications - Microsoft Word, Quark and Pagemaker. Infographics/screenshots were created using CorelDRAW and Photoshop.Eventually managing a team of three people, I was responsible for prioritising jobs, liaising with the Operations Manager and Directors to discuss, introduce, adapt or change working procedures.
