About Paul Makey

With over 20 years of graphic design and desktop publishing experience, working on both PCs and Apple Macs, I have extensive knowledge of producing printed publications using industry-standard packages (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop & Quark) and in my past 17 years of working for a commercial printing company I have gained a strong understanding of digital, lithograph and flexo printing techniques. I have the ability to liaise with clients, discuss design briefs and bring their ideas to life as well as planning artwork for cost-effective printing. I have strong communication and organisation skills, keen eye for detail and have the ability to multitask effectively. Currently working for SECUREmedia in a full time capacity, I am involved with design, pre-press, digital print production and wide format printing. I have also gained valuable experience through working for two national newspapers (Daily Mail and Daily Star), an IT consultancy company (Butler Group), and a brief stint with an internet publishing company (Infosis Group).
