Develop data scripts from customer requirements following industry best practice and standards and in accordance with applicable software development methodology, release and quality requirementsDesign, develop and execute data migrations, leading smaller migrations and also as part of larger projectsWork directly with customers to analyse their data needs and troubleshoot issues from any activity carried out on their behalfDevelop the data services provided by the Integration TeamProvide expertise to the rest of the company in data related activitiesConduct unit, system, integration and performance testing and bug fixingUtilise software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development processCollaborate in peer code reviewsProvide technical solutions to simple problems using sound problem solving techniquesPerform root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problemsEstimate level of effort for own workInvestigate new technologies and make recommendations for adoptionWorks collaboratively with other team members in cross functional teams to achieve goalsReview product and/or application information including manuals and brochures for technical accuracyKeep up to date with the latest software development technologies and methodologiesContribute regularly to discussions regarding internal process and system improvements in order to ensure maximum efficiency across the companyReport appropriate exceptions and issues to manager providing options and recommendations to resolve themOther duties and responsibilities as directed
