About Paul Mateer

Hello Everyone. Greetings from Chicagoland. I’m Paul, aka Grampy of Grampy’s Magic. I’ve been practicing magic for over 40+ years now. I specialize in performing magic for children’s parties, etc. Yes…I do “big kid” magic too, but I love to perform for the little ones. I’m a GrandPa with 11 grandchildren and now a great grandson.I’ve always had a passion for magic and got away from it for a few years. I recently performed for my grand daughters 4th birthday and she LOVED it. I was hooked again. Since then I have performed many children’s birthday parties and other events involving the “little ones” I enjoy performing for the younger ones (under 10) because they still believe. To the younger ones (under 6) everything is magic to them!
