As a member of the board at CelloBello, I am bringing my background in cello and chamber music and my experience in technology together to help bring the invaluable pedagogy of the cello masters of the past and present generations to those who otherwise would not have access to such teaching.I serve as technical advisor to the organization, and am helping to guide a complete redesign and new implementation of the CelloBello website.

I drove the vision, architecture, and standards for software development, data analysis, DevOps, and security across the Networks organization. I grew my six global teams from 25 to 40 engineers over 5 years. We created and supported the tools necessary for Networks to maintain and grow the Akamai global network. We triaged our tools and focused on the most important ones, to ensure that our resources were generating the greatest value for Akamai. I co-led a transformation to scaled Agile across our teams, which enhanced our throughput, agility, and ability to collaborate across teams to meet critical and dynamic business goals.I created a network testing suite to certify new compute datacenters for production readiness. I helped create an IP configuration tool to automatically configure the 300k+ machines in our network, and worked across operations and engineering teams to integrate its use into our standard deployment and maintenance processes.I led the adoption of a real-time whiteboarding tool companywide, managed it as it scaled up from 80 to 1500 users over 4 years, and smoothly transitioned to IT management. It provided valuable collaboration capabilities that were greatly needed during the pandemic.

I designed new systems, guided IT team members, and oversaw for the technological infrastructure within the organization. I helped customize our systems and platforms to improve customer experience.I monitored changes or advancements in technology to find competitive advantages. I analyzed the costs, value, and risks of IT systems and recommended actions to management.I collaborated with department heads to create efficiencies through technology enhancements.

I explored and understood the important strategic technology areas for our business, and articulated them to our internal and external stakeholders, including marketing, sales, support, operations, delivery/distribution in business-to-business and business-to-consumer contexts.I reliably ensured on-time delivery of new software and customer specific software integrations on time and within budget.I developed new client relationships and created new business opportunities.I instilled a a continuous improvement culture and oversaw quality assurance and remediation processes.

I led project teams to support and provide technical expert testimony in high-profile patent and trade secret litigations. I led teams performing complex computer forensics and security incident response investigations. I provided expert testimony in federal, state, and local courts.I oversaw and evaluated our IT operations according to established goals. I identified the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and worked with management to fund and implement the solutions. I purchased efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software and built relationships with vendors to negotiate cost-efficient contracts. I coordinated IT staff to provide specialized support and services to our consulting teams.
