I was part of the support team at MTN where we did new development and bug fixing on the Eppix system. I did new development and maintenance in VB6 on the Eppix system. This system connects to an INFORMIX database via RPC middleware. I also headed the VB team at MTN. I had to manage resources, pull up project plans and adhere to strict timelines.I did.

Here I wrote a Timesheet system that maintains resource timesheets, sends out invoices to clients and functions as a call center. This is a Windows based application that runs with an INFORMIX database. This software was written in VB6 together with third party controls and using Seagate Crystal Reports as a report writer. I maintained and supported all.

Development of financial systems for THE SOUTH AFRICAN RESERVE BANK that controls stocks, work out budgets, place orders, create purchase orders, create and maintain contracts and do system security for 8 VISUAL BASIC applications. All of these applications integrate with the accounting package ACCPAC. All these programmes run on a Windows operating system.
