Paul is a Chartered Civil Engineer, an Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Mentor, and an ICE Reviewer.After completing his PhD on an innovative arch bridge design, Paul worked as a consulting engineer in both offshore oil and gas and onshore buildings. While managing the Collaborative Reporting for Safer Structures (CROSS) safety scheme at the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), he gained extensive experience reviewing and analysing quality and safety issues in the construction industry, including advising government and industry.Currently, Paul works as a Construction Assurance Manager on the High Speed 2 (HS2) project for Setec.
