As a Coral Retail Manager, I am responsible for managing a team of five staff to achieve all targets and continue the growth of both the shop and the delivery of Coral’s defining product Connect. As the first point of call in my shop for both customers and staff, I have the responsibility of monitoring all money and expenses, liaising with senior management, ensuring customer care and managing betting liability. I also oversee the training of new staff and continued progress of current staff this is something that I am keen to continue with in my future career in retail management. I am proud of my solid track record with maintaining company standards by upholding the ‘Think 21’ policy, ensuring that all staff and the shop are presented suitably thereby achieving high scores in more than one internal QSA audit, and meeting all legal requirements.
