Chairing a multi stakeholder forum of state and non state members appointed under Section 36 of the Local Government Reform Act 2014.Governance and oversight in the distribution of many government funding streams in Dublin City including SICAP, Rapid, Healthy Ireland and The Community Facilities Enhancement Programme.The aim of the LCDCs is to develop, co-ordinate and implement a coherent and integrated approach to local and community development.The membership of LCDCs includes members of the local authority, local authority staff, representatives of public bodies which provide services in the area; representatives of local community interests; local community representatives; and representatives of publicly funded or supported local development bodies. The majority of members must be from the non-statutory sector.The main function of an LCDC is to prepare, implement and monitor the community elements of the six-year local economic and community plan. It must consider the economic elements of the plan in order to enhance co-ordination with the community elements and ultimately integrate the two elements but it does not have a role in deciding on the economic elements. It has a general role in seeking to ensure effectiveness, consistency, co-ordination and avoidance of duplication between the various elements of local authority activities in the community.

- Joint project leader on the first Dublin City Economic and Community Plan.- Receiving international civic and trade delegations- Representing the City Council on matters of enterprise and economic development at summits, conferences, local and national stakeholder meetings and in the media.

Chairing meetings of the the Area Joint Policing Committee which included Senior Gardai, Oireachtas members, Senior Council Officials and CEO of local agencies. - Drafting a strategic 5 year plan. - Supervising the work of policy sub committees- Ensuring ethical and legal standards at meetings- Identifying those issues which were common to different local policing fora and identifying a strategic approach to tackling them. This involved identifying legislative gaps and drafting legislation. Facilitating multi stakeholder meetings

The Construction Industry Federation is the membership body representing all sectors of the Construction Industry. As an Industrial Relations Executive I was responsible for delivering IR services to member firms and had overall responsibility for this function in the Mid-West region.• Attending regional meetings of the Federation, outlining federation policy, government proposals and local issues• Representing members at the Employment Appeals Tribunal, Labour Relations Commission and the Labour Court• Negotiating company and sector agreements with trade unions• Secretary to The National Joint Industrial Council for the Electrical Contracting Industry• Representing the Federation at conferences and training seminars, delivering presentations• Responsible for the equality portfolio in the Industrial Relations department.
