I am a hardworking highly motivated person with vast experience in the voluntary sector providing leadership and support to The Boys’ Brigade in the Greater Belfast Area and the Executive Committee and Finance & Property Committee creating Strategic Plans, setting and achieving Battalion objectives through its Vision, Mission and Values through an effective governance and administrative structure.Working closely alongside Section-specific Committees to fulfil their Objectives, develop meaningful and purposeful programmes and activities for young people and their adult leaders and provide support to staff to deliver first class services across all sections of The Boys’ Brigade.Develop the Battalion’s Residential and Outdoor Activity Centres contributing to the Educational and statutory and voluntary Youth work sector by providing a welcoming and non-threatening environment where young people can build long-lasting relationships and their adult leaders can develop relationships, increase personal confidence and develop their skills.Responsible for the Battalion’s finances to ensure long-term sustainability with sound financial structures, forward financial planning and identifying additional sources of revenue to extend The Boys’ Brigade programme. Manage retail outlet that supplies BB members with resources, uniforms, gifts, badges and awards.
