One of a very small number of Production Operators who have worked in all Production Facilities on the Novartis Ringaskiddy campus. I started in Production Building 1, a multisynthesis building manufacturing medium sized bulk API pharmaceutical products. I then moved to the Annex to work on low temperature reactions and the hydrodgenation process. My next move brought me to the Small Scale facility where I assisted in the commissioning and validation of the building using IQ, OQ & PQ protocols and followed through to production of launch products for use in Phase 3 Clinical trials. Some of these products included OEB4 high potency manufacturing and technology as well as the manufacturing of peptides using specialized equipment such as a Peptide Synthesiser and a Titanium Filter Dryer. Each SSF operator is not only a production operator but also a dispensing operator, a CIP operator and a utility operator where we manage our own Purified Water System and Ozonation Program. I then moved to Production Building 2 where I enhanced my peptide production experience using HPLC's and the Lyophilisation process. Earlier this year I moved shift due to the business need and am currently training new operators in the SSF building.I have been an active member of the site Emergency Response Team and more recently have taken up the position of Fire Team Leader where I command & control our on-site emergency situations whilst performing a dynamic risk assessment. I have been a very active member of the Safety Committee for the past 17 years not only representing shifts but also buildings. I have been involved in ZHA's, incident investigations/reviews and interaction with the HSA during site visits. I am trained in Cleanroom activities in a cGMP environment.Effective problem solving/troubleshooting, attention to detail, right first time manufacturing & CIP as well as impeccable time management in a cGMP environment are just a few of my key professional attributes.
