I work for Clearly Ahead Development fostering economic development in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania with a focus on energy-related projects. With the abundance of natural gas in our area, I have been working with companies interested in taking advantage of this affordable source of energy. Over the past two years, spot gas pricing in my region (Leidy Hub) has sold at a significant discount (~$1.50) under Henry Hub pricing. With this price advantage, my focus has been on attracting investment from natural gas intensive industries including Fertilizer, Power Generation, Chemicals, and GTL. I've also established an extensive network of foreign investors interested in investing in U.S. energy projects that I can bring to the table to assist with bringing a project to fruition.I have also established relationships with companies that are willing to supply facilities with natural gas directly from their network of Marcellus wells via long-term (+10-year) contract. We also have 3 major natural gas pipelines in the county that have access to the Leidy Hub (additional info is available in the presentations below).In addition to a low-cost source of natural gas, we have also identified property suitable for development (including several 300+ acre parcels) which includes access to Interstate-80, rail, electric transmission infrastructure, water, sewer, and various incentivized zones (KOZ, FTZ, LERTA).When the upstream gas industry was active in the Marcellus Shale play, I assisted many companies involved in the drilling process.
