Australian bush fires during 2019/2020) there was often less than 48 hours notice to move. due to the nature of these events, no end date could be given so had to plan for significant time away from home.Within this role, I was in charge of all the deployable equipment and tools used for the NH90. This included researching and providing a benefit analysis as to why we need a certain piece of equipment and/or any specific trainings.Attained the authorisation to certify personnel to conduct authorized tasks, including the use of the NH90 APU. Within a component bay carrying out ILM/DLM servicing of NH90 and A109LUH rotating components (blades, drive shafts, hubs etc.).This included conducting technical supervision of junior tradesmen and the certification of maintenance activities.

Worked at a flight line based workplace servicing UH-1H Iroquois helicopters, conducting OLM and ILM maintenance. This workplace provided my initial foray into technical supervision.This position provided a significant amount of domestic travel, working away from home base for often week long periods. These trips allowed myself to take a temporary maintenance team leader role.Whenever the T53-L-13B engine was replaced, or required troubleshooting, I was tasked with fitting the JETCAL 2000 unit. This provided the operator with constant and detailed information about how the engine is performing, including but not limited to vibrations. Promoted to up to CPL (E-5)/Team Leader November 2013.
