During this period I was initially part of a team developing a new start up. As my involvement concluded I have enjoyed a long overdue sabbatical where I've travelled the world extensively, relaxed rather indulgently and have now found the point where I am quite excited to manage projects and have just begun to make some enquiries.Currently seeking Project Management opportunities.

Within my role at TechnologyOne I consulted with TechnologyOne clients who chose to implement Solutions as to provide my professional project management services with creating a transparent, pragmatic, inclusive and seamless transition to the highest standard. I worked closely with Client Sponsors, Project Management and Key Stakeholders to ensure their solution configuration was best fit for the organisation's and project's objectives whilst working with the clients PM to ensure all aspects of planning, design, testing, training, deployment and transition are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality.

Here I was heavily instrumental in delivering key projects and driving the development of change initiatives necessary for the viability of future programs. I Project Managed HBF’s Windows Upgrade Project along with several application development projects that delivered new products and services that enhanced their competitive advantage.Many of the artefacts I generated as part of my project deliverables are now used as best examples. The greatest examples of this is when I created and developed a project schedule (using MS Project) within one of my projects which received high regard from key stakeholders and many within the PMO. Following this I was commissioned by the PMO Manager to promote, support and assist peers to follow this standard by my introduction of a smart-template approach which was supported by all. I then designed processes where the PMO could create a fortnightly MS Master Schedule, largely due to the schedules design and consistency, and by establishing quality standards now adhered to by all projects managers within the HBF PMO

I managed a team of Project Managers, Analysts and other project resources servicing our AsiaPac Clients whilst being an active team player when liaising with support services or pre-sales commercial negociation and analysis.I was accountable for:• The commercial success of all projects within the AsiaPac region, maintaining a balanced and agreed level of utilisation of our perminent team and its orgmentation and collaboration with contracted skills where necessary.• All recruitment and training as to select the best candidates, fit for purpose in either a perminant or contract engagement, and to ensure they begin to add value as quickly and effectively as possible• The establishment of the Melbourne Office of Blackbay which will service the project and commercial engagement needs for our suite of AsiaPac clients• Providing escalation within the region where scope, risks or commercial expectations require resolution with senior stakeholders prior to becoming realised.• Innovating for, supporting of, and collaborating with our global Senior Management Team on all aspects of commercial, project and operational concerns

I managed an intensive review of the company’s Business Process and ICT capabilities as to provide a true understanding of its strengths and weaknesses following several recent acquisitions. My role as Program Manager was to conduct this review and develop a business case that would both capture the company’s current intellectual property value of ICT assets and integrating business process and to then transition this into a consolidated business solution that would enable the business to perform at its optimum from a known time in its future.I managed a project team who executed the following deliverables:• Capture and value the AS-IS ICT assets and business process • The selection of the candidate solutions to fulfil end to end concept solution • Proof of concept tests and demonstrations• Acceptance of Pre Business Case document for indicative business improvement and cost estimates• Business Case approval• Securing of all service supplier terms, including penalties, compliance and incentiveI was able to demonstrate my wealth of project management experience when I:• Established all resource requirements including SME’s, skilled third party contractors (with LOE) and project administration overhead.• Identified and documented risks both within the project and within the commercial and operational areas such as information management security, ongoing professional stability and performance and the protection of intellectual property.• facilitated workshops as to create innovative and collaborative solutions which also garnered strong solution by-in by senior stakeholders who were involved.• Contributed toward the technical design phase. • The development of an enterprise wide solution that exceeded industry benchmarks and the expectations of all stakeholders and their clients.

During this lengthy tenure, I was privileged to have managed some of Australia Posts more highly profiled and successful projects. The successful outcomes of many of these projects created new market and business opportunities within state and federal government departments. My project involvement often spanned from very early commercial pre-sales, where meeting the prospective client with the account manage/director to help address and identifying their value proposition and key change objectives where necessary. I was regularly involved with the negotiation of initial commercial agreements and engagement terms (Often involving tender response and/or requests). Within these projects I:• Managed the Client and stakeholders expectations and communication, regularly providing detailed project reporting for use by senior management and stakeholders.• Managed staff, contractors, vendors and business partners through every project phase, ensuring compliance with time, quality, risk factors and budget.• Developed project documents that include project management plans, risk plans, project schedules and business cases• Managed budgets from $100k to $2M with projected contract revenues up to $30M• Managed the creation or enhancement of Software applications and/or CIT Assets• Developed training requirements and material for up to 6,200 staff• Created test plans that have involved up to four business partners, 2 software vendors and 4000 retail outlets.Examples of project I delivered for Australia Post during this period include:• WA Police - National Police Check (entire end to end ICT solution integration and commercials)• WorkSafe Victoria - New Licence Application for High Risk Work (entire ICT and commercial solution)• Coles On-Line - ICT/Business systems enabling complete separation to Coles and Australia Post• WorkCover NSW - New Licence Application for High Risk Work (entire ICT and commercial solution)
