During my tenure as a Software Developer at Transitions Optical Ltd., I focused on developing .NET HMIs to interface with Allen-Bradley controllers in manufacturing equipment. I also designed, developed, and maintained SCADA systems using Ignition across all Transitions manufacturing sites, contributing to increased efficiency and process control. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, I played a key role in the design of shop floor applications, ensuring they aligned with the company's production needs. Additionally, I handled database design and development using SQL Server, including SSRS reporting.

At Elanco Animal Health, I served as an IT Analyst responsible for compiling computer software validation deliverables for systems implemented on-site. My role included conducting comprehensive CSV testing to validate all aspects of software systems. I actively coordinated and managed system vendors to deliver software systems, while also addressing change requests to document software changes in compliance with Elanco's change management process. I played a crucial role in conducting design and code reviews, ensuring systems adhered to Elanco's procedures. Additionally, I provided ongoing software and database support for existing applications.

During my time at Boston Scientific Ireland Ltd. as a Software Engineer, I was responsible for analyzing user requirements and ensuring software systems were delivered to meet end-user expectations. I compiled detailed design documentation, specifying the specifications of software systems that controlled the manufacturing of medical devices. Integration of software systems with PLC and vision systems enhanced product tracking and traceability throughout the manufacturing process. My role also involved providing support during system validation to ensure validations were completed on schedule. Additionally, I provided software and database support and conducted troubleshooting of PLC-based automated equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.

As a Software Engineer at Lotus Automation Ireland Ltd., I designed, developed, and implemented 21 CFR Part 11 compliant computer systems used in the manufacturing of medical devices. These systems were developed using VB with a SQL server database and Crystal Reports. I was also responsible for installing and commissioning in-house systems for clients, including Boston Scientific. I developed and executed software validation protocols and provided 24/7 on-call support to ensure production systems experienced minimal downtime.
