· Responsible for the overall creation & management of the company’s social media strategy, within a growing Digital Marketing team.· Manage a team of digital content writers, providing them with support and guidance as the create and implement a digital content strategy, designed to improve search visibility and enhance the on-page experience for users.· Work alongside our in-house Design team to create engaging marketing campaigns designed to educate our target audience, enhance our brand, increase following and generate new business.· Manage the day-to-day handling of the company’s social channels, including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn YouTube and various podcast platforms. Overseen a follower growth of 2248%· Working with the wider marketing function to create and implement B2B lead generation campaigns centred around content marketing, providing prospects with a path from awareness, to consideration and ultimately to conversion. · Management of our paid social media activity and budget, across multiple platforms. Day to day running of the accounts involve executing campaigns, testing new ad formats, audience optimization and budget management, to ensure we maintain a low cost per lead. Liaising with our ad account managers regularly to get the most out of our paid social strategy and to achieve our desired goals.· Creating and maintaining a social listening network for monitoring mentions and engaging when necessary, and ensuring we engage with industry-relevant conversations and trends.· Responsible for the implementation of the company’s advocacy programme, leading Ideagen to be named in the top 20 of Europe’s most socially active software professionals by DSMN8.· Ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media messaging

· Day-to-day responsibility included management of the Twitter, Facebook and YouTube accounts for 3 of Britain’s major banks (Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Bank of Scotland).· Scheduled posts and updates, as well as suggested and created topics and posts for approval. This included creating text content for proactive Twitter updates and Facebook statuses on the brand pages, as well as accompanying images when necessary.· Dealt with a range of queries about any aspect of Lloyds Banking Group and its brands received from customers across the channels.· Paid very close attention to detail, as comments made via the company channels had an initial audience in the tens of thousands based on the number of followers and likes on Twitter and Facebook, however the potential impact of any comments made via these channels could have been larger.· Identified opportunities to further extend/develop customer relationships by promoting the Bank’s products and services to fully meet their financial needs. This included liaising with external agencies where appropriate
