We launched the first Golf Tourism Quality Assurance Scheme, jointly with Failte Ireland. This also involved organising a Northern Ireland trade stand at the Irish Open in Royal Portrush 2012 and in subsequent years in at Carton House 2013 and Fota Island 2014.

MTV arrived in Belfast and the sell-out Irish Open at Royal Portrush attracted 130,000 visitors. ni2012 Our Time Our Place was a once in a lifetime opportunity to showcase this new, vibrant and developing Northern Ireland to the world.
