Kaplan Living is the UK accommodation arm of Kaplan International. Providing accommodation for Kaplan students across our Colleges along with Direct Let students in various locations nationwide. As National Residences Manager I am responsible for developing and leading Kaplan Living to be a forward thinking modern student accommodation provider that creates a home from home atmosphere. This overarching role involves responsibility for finance, generating new revenue, health and safety, FM, HR, policies and procedures, brand standards and all other operational aspects of Kaplan Living.This unique setup ensures that building strong long lasting relationships with many stakeholders is essential to drive success.

A Multi-City Manager covering Liverpool and Stoke. responsible for launching a new brand within both cities and driving sales to obtain 100% direct let occupancy. Covering 8 separate buildings ranging from small boutique studio listed buildings up to large cluster new build sites.

I took this 396 bed new student development through practical completion and was responsible for launching this new student brand within a very competitive city achieving 100% direct let occupancy in first two years of operation. We were proud to be recognised for our efforts with a Best Private Halls award for voted for by the students from all Liverpool Universities.

Responsible for all operations on this 350 bed backpacker hostel. Increasing revenue and sales year on year and leading a team of 30 across all facets of the business achieving multiple customer service and group awards for the building and team.

Managing multiple hotels within the chain across Manchester. Sites varied from small road side hotels to large city centre hotels with bar and restaurants.
