Concrete is an independent company, whose vocation is to support asset managers and institutional investors in the field of risk management, performance analysis and due diligence services.Concrete benefits from an innovative framework to model and analyze portfolio: rather than a discrete representation of portfolio via holding proportions, the integration of fund flows (executions, in and out flows) allows for an exact representation of funds at all times. This additional information leads Concrete to propose risk and performance analyses or reports far more accurate than traditional tools. In addition, with a proven expertise in due diligence, Concrete can support asset managers, or directly carry on, third party provider validations and follow-ups.

Manage a team of 2 risk managers and 3 operational due diligence analysts.Risk team : - Contributes to the validation of new products- Controls and Monitoring of 200 UCITS or AIF (long only and alternative, French or Lux funds). - Develops an internal model producing risk measures (up to 2018; Riskmetrics implemented in 2019)- Monitors of daily risk budget (asset allocation bandwidth, commitment, performance, volatility, tracking error, value at risk), as well as monthly figures such as liquidity risk report, stress test… - Produces or validates regulatory reporting (CSSF UCIT risk reports, AIFM reports…)- Participates to the ISDA review- Supervises and contributes to the best execution committee- Defines, reviews and updates market, credit, counterparty, liquidity and operational risk policiesIn the context of delegations of investment mandates (35 external managers) or fund selection (about 120 companies managing UCITS, AIF or private equity funds), the Operational Due diligence:- Performs initial validation of external asset managers: assessment of the global governance, review of operational and financial strengths and weaknesses, evaluation of human resources, verification that the second and third lines of control (compliance, risk, audit) meet regulators and ABN AMRO requirements.- Provides feedbacks and expectations to managers- Updates regularly the company risk assessment: on-site visit frequency from a year up to 3 years (depending on our risk assessment and the provided cash amount)- Define specific process for ETF validation. In addition of our standard due diligence process, we review ETF structures (Authorized participant and liquidity providers, replication process, ISDA contract if swap based replication…)Other tasks :- Participate to the MIFID2 project : stream leader on execution workstream - Contribute to design a digital tool for operational due diligences.- Implementation of Riskmetrics
