I currently am a Credit Analyst at Cadence Bank based out of Atlanta, GA. I help underwrite loans, assess loan risk, prepare reports, and create models. I started working at Cadence Bank in July 2023 and have worked with several lending teams at the bank.I completed my undergraduate studies from 2019 to 2022 at the University of Alabama, earning my Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance and concentration in Value Investing, completing my degree in 6 semesters and graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. During my time as an undergraduate student, I served as an ambassador for the University of Alabama Honors College, where I served as a peer mentor, helping first-year students with their adjustment to college life, and I also led weekly small-group discussions with those students. Additionally, I was an undergraduate research assistant, researching political economics for Dr. Traviss Cassidy and Dr. Jun Zhao, where I was tasked with research and data organization. In addition to that, I was a LIFT peer mentor, volunteering at local Tuscaloosa high schools to teach students about personal finance and I was a member of the Alabama Finance Association.Upon graduating with my Bachelor's degree in 2022, I returned to the University of Alabama to earn my Master of Science in Finance at the Manderson Graduate School of Business. As a graduate student, I specialized in Financial Engineering and Risk Management and gained working knowledge of R and Python, and used those languages to develop risk management programs for coursework. Additionally, I served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for two Value Investing courses by holding office hours for students and assisting in administrative duties.In the summer of 2022 I served as an Issues Management Intern for Mr. Cooper, the largest non-bank mortgage originator in the United States. As an intern, I delivered weekly presentations to vice presidents across many departments, highlighting regulatory changes and their impact to our originations business. Upon graduating in May 2023, I began working as a Credit Analyst at Cadence Bank.
