Job purpose:Manage and maintain the vehicles of the organization.Duties• Dispatch vehicles to the different events.• Write opening and closing kilometres in the log book for each vehicle.• Ensure vehicles are kept clean at all times.• Apply for Cross Border each time there is an event in a foreign country.• Give the drivers the respect and support that they need.• Monitor the vehicles using tracker.• Contact tracker when there is a problem with a vehicle or informing tracker forthe installation of a unit in a new vehicle purchased by the company, informingtracker when the vehicle is sold.• Control the fuel in the vehicles, and reconcile the fuel account at month end.• Report all incidents and accidents to the Chief Operating Office.• Record the kilometres of all the vehicles on a monthly basis to determine whenthe vehicle should be serviced.• Update the customers with their ETA.• Organize additional drivers if there are many events.• Manage vehicle maintenance schedules.• Manage fuel consumption.• Maintain vehicle licensing and other permits.• Resolve queries efficiently.• Assist in route planning.• Log in breakdowns.

Job Purpose:Dispatching of vehicles for loading for Chevron in Klerksdorp and in Gauteng. Job Purpose:Dispatching vehicles for loading and offloading at different cement companies and mines.For example, Afrisam (Lichtenburg and Roodepoort), Lafarge (Lichtenburg andRandfontein), Omnia (Rustenburg), and OMV Potchefstroom Gypsum.Duties• Dispatching of trucks to the different loading sites.• Monitoring the movement of trucks using C – track.• Giving the drivers loading and offloading numbers for the different sites.• Updating the movement of trucks on the computer and the white board.• Giving the drivers money for food on a daily basis.• Preparing a fleet performance on a daily basis.• Distribution of delivery books to the drivers.• Planning of loads when working over the weekend.• Participating in handover process before and after every shift.• Scheduling trucks for service on a weekly basis.• Maintaining clear and effective communication with Logistics Director, andLogistics Manager.• Conversant with relevant business information, policies, processes andprocedures.
