Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company to ensure that the business runs smoothly, efficiently and within budget. Responsible for managing Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations and Customer Service, from sourcing products to the receiving, storing and processing of goods to delivering them to our customers. Accountable for ensuring these processes are efficient and effective and providing leadership to the Operations Team.

Managing the end-to-end Supply Chain process and relationships within a global network of suppliers. Responsible for Forecasting, Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Optimisation, and Payment Scheduling. Also responsible for managing the NPI process from sourcing new suppliers and products to providing project management support to bring the products to market.

Primarily responsible for the Supply Chain Management of multiple vendors and customers. I deal directly with suppliers, internal stakeholders and customers and manage this chain from initial contact through the tender process to ongoing account management. One of my key tasks is to set out appropriate procurement strategies in order to deliver cost reductions, shortage minimisation and on time delivery. This role has given me strong purchasing experience within a medium sized manufacturing business where I am required to problem solve and work on multiple projects at any one time and cope with ever-changing demands of a busy environment. I am also responsible for Commercial Tenders, New Product Introduction, Document and Change Control, Production Planning and I am the first point of contact for new and current customers. Since joining the company I have created a VMI system, implemented Purchase Order Management software and developed an Order Book / Production Planning System.

In charge of 16 Engineers and 2 Apprentice Engineers. Reporting to the Director Of Engineering and The Director Of Operations, I was responsible for the strategic development of the Engineering Department. I initiated a program of skills assessment and training for all the Engineering staff with a particular emphasis on the commercial aspect.

In charge of 6 Product Engineers. Responsible for cradle to grave support with respect to the commercial, technical and administrative requirements for each new contract. This role had a heavy commercial bias with a focus on tender management and the ongoing cost and price management of successful tenders.

In charge of 4 Estimators. Responsible for coordinating the Bid Management Process including estimating, tendering and contract review. I created a Bid Management System to allow for greater control, process standardisation and information transparency.

Responsible for developing a process cost model for Printed Circuit Assembly.

Responsible for aircraft handling and documentation control. Duties included coordinating all ramp services with regards to passenger handling, air -side contract services, security, Health and Safety and load control.
