A successful professional with a wide range of knowledge gained through working in the social housing sector for 28 years, providing the ability to deliver a successful development function. Working at a Strategic level over the last nine years, building on and enhancing knowledge and influence on the wider issues affecting the sector both at operational and business levels. Worked at Halton Housing for over 10 years and was brought into the business at a point where there was a requirement to not only change to way the Regeneration / Investment programmes were delivered but also to identify and deliver the new build development aspirations. The latter has taken the organisation from developing 18 homes, to developing the organisations 1000th home. More recently, continuing to look to enhance a wider strategic approach through strategic projects, locally has become a Board Member of a Runcorn Town Board.Keen interest in Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and over recent years has undertaken two small pilot schemes and although difficult, these have shown that MMC can work! So great excitement at becoming a Board Member with Building Better, which is a consortia of like minded organisations, who genuinely want to make MMC become the norm....no longer just a pilot!
