Initially worked in mainstream operations where I gained operating experience on Mainframe, UNIX (Solaris) and Windows (NT4/Win2k) operating platforms. System & infrastructure fault monitoring and reporting using alert management software tools BMC PATROL, CA Unicenter and problem & change management (Remedy).June 2001 – July 2004 (Operations Analyst @ Capgemini)Enterprise Management support role. Responsible for the delivery and support of alert management and automation tools across the enterprise in a large multi client environment. Integration of BMC PATROL into other system Management tools and exposure to CA Unicenter (NSM) and IBM Netcool OMNibus. During this period I worked on a dedicated client workload which involved the development, deployment and support for BMC PATROL in a 4k plus server multi platform environment (UNIX, Linux, and Wintel). July 2004 – Nov 2005 (Application Performance Management @ Capgemini)Support and delivery of a managed service for Mercury Topaz and then HP Business Availability Centre. Application performance management and automated service availability testing using HP VuGen LoadRunner with BPM and BAC. Rollout of Business Process Monitor which included the development and execution of test scripts against SAP, Siebel, Citrix, Oracle HR and CRM based applications. Performance & availability monitoring of key systems, internal web applications and the Microsoft Exchange environment.
