I took two SW product lines through the "In Service", (IS), milestone. These are ACDMIS products, which provide telephone switch and agent activity monitoring, for more efficient call center management. The products provide a real-time graphical user interface, complete with threshold and adherence-to-schedule alarms, as well as an Ingres RDBMS system for historical reporting. Managed the coordination of two design efforts, split between a team in England and a team in Nashua, to complete coding on schedule and carry the products through Integration Test. Wrote RDBMS conversion utilities to assist in porting other database tables to the Ingres RDBMS. Wrote and used a variety of test suites with the Atron Evaluator as an automated test tool.

Developed Image Processing Software Libraries for real-time, pipelined image processing subsystems. Platforms requiring support included IBM-AT, SUNS, SUN4, SUN3861, SPARCstation 330, OS-9 systems running on 680xO, 80386 and 80286 processors, as well as 80386 and 80286 boards running MS-DOS. Responsible for all phases of development, from software specification, through development, debug and support. Experienced in all aspects of the Microsoft Codeview, SUN DBX and OS9 user state debug tools. Developed low-level hardware device drivers and interrupt handlers using the Microsoft Macro Assembler, as well as OS9's R68 assembler. Responsible for release maintenance procedures, including release note and label generation on the Interleaf Word Processing System. Experienced in the configuration and use of the PC-NFS network system.Managed a group of three Applications Engineers who developed application specific image processing software acting as corporate consultants to our large OEM customers. Carried software projects through all phases, from meeting with the customer to determine functional specifications, through writing marketing proposals, package development, test, delivery and customer training. Developed Image Processing software for use on Datacube hardware. Wrote a touch-screen driven, user interface package, based on the SunView windows environment, for a 3D vision system prototype. Analyzed the need for and wrote enhancements to the SunView package at the pixrect and graphics driver level. Interface packages included CAD part modeling, part database generation and inspection sequence editing. Handled all technical documentation of Engineering Specifications and System User Manuals.

Performed hardware testing and all software development for the IMC-1000 factory floor, robot controller. Platform is based on the 68000 CPU, with 4 asynchronous 68121 I/O processors running in parallel. Designed & implemented a multitasking operating system, fully interrupt driven, with preemptive task switching for real-time performance. Entire system was coded in 68000 and 6801 assembly.
