As a professional engineer registered with EGBC, I specialize in the survey and design of resource roads and bridges. I have surveyed and designed modified fords, engineered culverts, log bridges, concrete slab bridges, and steel girder with concrete deck bridges. Often I have been on site to review construction and sign off on these and other structures. Work in the resource sector in BC has included such diverse projects as stream channel restoration and rehabilitation, recreational trails and footbridges, peak flow calculations and hydraulic modelling for both flood hazard assessments and barge crossings of large rivers, critical lift plans, and machine retrievals on steep slopes.
